Position Summary:

Crawford Groupis a managed consulting services firm that targets organizations that are responsible for Marketing, Communications, Internal Communications, Executive Communications, and Field Communications and Marketing. We are currently seeking a Business Development / Sales Rep. to join our phenomenal team!
Sales Representative

In this mission-critical position, you will be responsible for identifying, creating and managing new client business for Crawford Group. Youwill be responsible for implementing annual account plan(s), for strategically positioning and selling Crawford Group services to meet individual client needs.

We will also rely on you to develop new client relationships, identify business opportunities, close and acquire new accounts and revenue, create project specifications, interview, present and manage the consultant select ion process, and account manage the people and process to ensure assignment delivery, revenue and account penetration.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have a solid track-record of developing new client business with a marketing and communication services product. This individual must have demonstrated major account success in a direct sales role, with examples of the sales approach you employ and proof sources of client growth, client satisfaction and long term consultative client relationships. Additionally, the candidate must be an expert in selling products and services into marketing and communications organizations, bringing experience and credibility to Crawford Group’s presence and subject matter expertise to create peer-to-peer client meetings.

Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
· 5+ years sales and business development experience (in a B2B environment)
· Knowledge of the functions within a marketing organization and/or experience selling new business for advertising or public relations agencies(selling to marketing executives, etc.)
· Ability to sell technology to executive and senior levels is required
· Familiarity with online business applications, sales contact management software, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
· Solid relational soft skills and diplomacy to mentor client and consultants through results oriented conflict resolution

Preferred:
· Master’s or MBA in business or related field
· Previous successful experience selling to Fortune 100 technology company marketing executives
· Previous management experienceis highly desired
· Experience working in an agency
