COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Landmark Ventures is a venture development firm working with growing technology firms and venture capital funds specializing in strategic sales, market entry, client acquisition and fundraising services.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an Account Executive to join our company and support key dialogues between our technology clients and Fortune 500 corporations. This position requires a high-level of prospecting, account management, consulting, sales, and business development skills. Specific technology or industry experience (Banking, Insurance, Information Technology, Marketing/PR, Biotechnology, Law, Venture Capital, etc.) is a plus, though not required.
The position offers the opportunity to interact on a daily basis with high-level executives, including Venture Capitalists, CIO's/CTO's/CSOs and Directors of Network and Technology. A large portion of the job entails client interaction, developing and preparing presentations, and ongoing account management working with the largest companies in the world.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Find, develop, and qualify sales opportunities across a wide variety of companies and industries based on Landmarks unique clientele and their individual needs.
* Construct and lead sales strategies for qualified opportunities, including the management of multi-faceted, cross-functional relationships in complex organizations. Understand customer business drivers, political factors, and forcing functions and be able to translate those into high value solutions for prospects and Landmark.
* Establish personal relationships with senior, C-level Executives by becoming a trusted, valued business partner who can provide guidance on inter and intra-industry trends and developments.
* Assist in closing deals by working closely with client sales teams to address customer requests and needs. Be able to step in where appropriate as a neutral third party to move things forward in the cases where clients request additional assistance in driving sales to closure.
* Understand client value propositions and how to best leverage software and services to package complete solutions to solve customer problems. Overcome sales obstacles, while understanding competitive strategies and tactics being used. Understand the complete political structure and how to maneuver to ensure short and long-term success.
* Effectively manage installed accounts by establishing relationships at all levels. Be able to profile and penetrate assigned strategic accounts, coordinating internal resources and effectively establishing and implementing strategic sales plans.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have solid Sales, Operational and/or Business Development experience from a Consulting, Banking, Information Technology or similar type organization. The candidate must be comfortable interacting via phone, email and in-person with C-level executives as a trusted advisor, consultant, and business development executive. Specific technology or industry experience (primarily Insurance and/or Banking) is a plus, though not required. We will consider stellar entry-level candidates.
