Account Executive Discovery & Data Management Group Enterprise Market

Position Summary: Autonomy is a $6B UK based public enterprise software company that has experienced tremendous growth and has been profitable each quarter for the past eight years. Autonomy recently acquired the digital assets of Iron Mountain and we have a strong desire to grow this important part of our organization. We have immediate openings for experienced sales representatives responsible for sales of our Discovery-related product sets in multiple markets in the Chicago, Washington DC and New York areas.

As an Autonomy large market account executive you will sell hosted and on-premise electronic discovery offerings, Early Case Assessment and Legal Hold technology, cloud-based data archiving, and other related solutions. You will be required to develop opportunities, demonstrate, advise on, promote and sell Autonomys software. Successful candidates will have an established sales record in the areas of discovery, archive, or back-up and recovery.

The role of an account executive is to meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets through prospecting for new customers and maintaining relationships with existing Autonomy customers. Applicants must be motivated to reach targets, meet deadline requirements and possess strong negotiating skills. High-level management of customer expectations and ability to adhere to tight deadlines is essential.

Candidate should have a strong understanding of data storage, discovery and backup technology and be able to discuss products and solutions in relation to the needs of the targeted application(s) at all levels of an organization, while at the same time understanding the strengths and weaknesses of competitive products. Candidate must be able to demonstrate Autonomy products and draft high quality proposals as a standard part of the sales process.

Candidate will be expected to maintain relevant data in Autonomy's sales force automation tool by recording all significant sales activity for each account or opportunity. Weekly Sales forecasts must also be maintained in an accurate and timely fashion.

Systems Engineers wishing to transition to sales will be strongly considered for the position. Salary package is highly competitive, and dependent upon relevant experience.

Additional Requirements:
Must have experience selling to Fortune 1000 accounts
Have demonstrated ability to sell software solutions across multiple groups in an organization
Must have successfully sold to and maintained relationships with C-Level executives
BA or BS required
Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to support heavy travel requirements are essential.
