Group Benefits Practice Overview Our client is comprised of dedicated and experienced professionals whose mission is to find our clients the right coverage and the right provider. Their vast array of specialized programs include: Medical, Dental, Disability, Life, Voluntary Products, Wellness Programs, Section 125, Flexible Spending Accounts & Debit Cards, Policy Reference Manual, Pharmacy Benefits Management, Financial Account Monitoring, Plan Audits & Benchmarking Studies, Contribution Management Studies, Open Enrollment Coordination, Alternate Funding, and Claims & Renewal Analysis. Role Overview: The Account Managers are insurance professionals, concerned with high level customer service as part of a sales team. This Salaried (non sales) Service role assists the Agency in general and the Producers/Sales Agents in particular, with the servicing, marketing of new, and renewal accounts of Group Health and related Group Benefits Products. The position is available immediately and is based out of their Miami Doral office (zip 33178).Key Responsibilities:Prioritize your time to accomplish goals and manage workflow and may provide direction to CSRs. Assist Producer on key projects. Attend client meetings accompanied by Producer. Train new team members on business process including marketing new business opportunities and renewals and processing. Resolve issues in a timely fashion in consultation with the Producer and other members of your Team. Other Responsibilities: - Requests census information from clients, prospects, etc. - Sends out RFPs to companies for all lines of coverage - Negotiates rates for renewal and competitive quotes - Prepares RFP response presentations - Processes new & renewal group policies (entering into Agency Management System, setting up files) -Overseeing case installation - Prepares communication for open enrollment presentations - Prepares enrollment materials for presentations - Prepares financial account management reports - Prepares for client meetings to include establishing agenda Category: Account Management
