Account Executive - Mid-West & Mid-Atlantic Territory

Account Executive, RefWorks COS

Territory: includes Mid-Atlantic and well as Mid-West states, individual can be based in a major hub (Chicago, DC etc) within either territory. States included in territory coverage:
Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, DC, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa. These territories are subject to change from time to time.

RefWorks-COS seeks a technical savvy Account Manager for the US to achieve new and renewal sales goals for both RefWorks and COS product lines.

Essential Responsibilities:
Generate new business and expand market share of RefWorks and COS products in region.
Ensure new and renewal revenue targets are met and exceeded.
Work with ProQuest and Dialog regional Account Managers to identify new prospects and/or upgrade existing clients to RefWorks and COS products.
Develop and expand business development partners.
Meet the monthly, quarterly and yearly quota.
Report and track daily activities via Sales Force service.
Organize travel for meetings, site visits, presentations and conferences;
Provide weekly and monthly reports providing for update of all business related activities.
Travel outside of the office at a minimum of 50%.

Knowledge and Abilities
Knowledge of modern information platforms used by libraries and/or research offices
Ability to learn new technologies

Education, Work Experience and/or Licensure
Bachelors degree required
Experience in the electronic publishing industry or technology industry desired
4-6 years sales experience required

Language Skills
Excellent understanding of the English language, oral and written
