Position: The Account Executive will be responsible for developing new accounts within a set geographic area. The AE will work closely with the Director of Sales and the Area Manager to sell all of the Commissionaires products and services to a selected group of vertical markets. General Responsibilities: - Develop and execute account plans within a specific region and selected vertical segments - Communicate and report activities to the Director of Sales on a regular basis. - Create new sales revenue opportunities that fit with the strategic approach as set out by the Director of Sales. - Expand business lines within existing client base within a specific territory - Participate from time to time in trade shows - Assist in responding to RFPs as required Specific Responsibilities: - Proactively prospect to a set of predetermined verticals - Maintain a level of prospecting calls and face to face appointments - Along with the Director of Sales develop a road map and sales strategy to new services and products - Prepare proposals and negotiate contractual relationships with new clients - Report as deemed appropriate sales activity and sales funnel to Director of Sales Requirements: - 5 plus years sales experience in a business to business setting - Security sales experience an asset but not mandatory - Experience building and maintaining a pipeline of sales prospects - Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships internally and externally. - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Must be located in the GTA or the London, Ontario area - Travel within central and south western Ontario We offer: - Competitive base salary - Commission - Benefits - Paid Vacation - Sick Days Closing date 2 August 2010.
