Account Manager-Healthcare

Meet or exceed assigned growth and product goals and quotas.
Establish and maintain on-going rapport with senior or C level contacts at multiple functions/business areas within the customers organization.
Manage customer expectations, and service implementation and delivery in a dynamic, competitive, high-volume environment.
Defend and maintain margin dynamics of account portfolio
Meet and exceed all sales planning requirements, including, but not limited to call activity, territory management, presentations, account plan development, etc.
Initiate and implement sales and market strategies for assigned accounts to meet growth and business development objectives.
Research and capture key customer information and competitive intelligence to be leveraged in sales and marketing efforts.
Create proposals and contract offers, respond to RFIs/RFPs as required.
Use contact management software and other proprietary programs to document account activity, customer communication and reports.
Demonstrate thought leadership within the sales team and throughout the organization
Develop and maintain strong communication and business relationships with departments and personnel.
Participate in special projects as assigned.


Requirements:

5+ years of demonstrated success with complex sales processes
College degree or equivalent preferred.
Experience with value based sales propositions or selling intangible solutions is preferred.
Sales and account management experience into one or more of the following industries is a plus: Healthcare, Telecommunications and/or Call Centers.
Successful contract negotiation skills required.
Must be proactive and extremely customer-focused.
Demonstrated ability to meet goals and objectives.
Professional verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and CRM applications
Approximately 65% travel.
