Advertising Account Executive
The Account Executive is accountable for maintaining superior client relationships and plays a major role in the development and execution of integrated campaigns, innovative programs and award-winning work. The AE works closely with Clients and the Creative team to ensure that projects are developed and delivered on time, within budget and per expectations.
Responsibilities Include:
Being the primary point of contact for Clients
Shaping and taking responsibility for Client expectations relative to strategic objectives, creative, timelines and deliverables
Relaying Clients’ needs and expectations accurately to Agency
Having the ability to work with multiple Clients, deadlines and deliverables
Preparing Creative Briefs to provide clear strategic and creative direction on programs and concepts
Working closely with all internal departments in order to efficiently produce deliverables on time and within budget
Establishing and maintaining timelines, budgets, goals and priorities for delivery of programs. Ensuring programs adhere to all objectives
Maintaining clear, accurate and timely communications with Clients, including regular Status Reports, Work-In-Progress, Budget Reports, and Conference Reports after every meeting
Keeping Account Director or direct supervisor informed of all challenges and/or opportunities in relation to accounts
Identifying and implementing continuous improvement of all operational processes
Alerting agency principals of any new business opportunities and assisting in following up with leads
The ideal candidate is a bright, hard-working and outgoing team-player with excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Position Requirements:
Exceptional communications and time management skills
Ability to multi-task in deadline-driven environment
Self-motivated, accountable and driven by results
Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
3-4 years of professional work experience in an ad or PR agency
Bachelor's degree in advertising or communications preferred
