We are currently expanding our airfreight services in the New York area and are looking for an Airfreight Account Executive to cover the New York-New Jersey-Long island Sales region. The successful candidate is responsible to maintain a solid existing customer base, and develop a huge resource of qualified existing prospective customers. The Airfreight Account Executive will be backed by a fully-fledged operational office that offers all services including in-house customs brokerage.
The right candidate must be a sales professional, energetic, work independently, and has high acumen to sell logistical services to various types of companies including Fortune 500.
We offer a generous package of salary and benefits which includes: Basic bi-weekly salary with great medical and insurance plans, monthly car allowance with gas expense, a generous commission plan, especially for high achievers. Communications kit to include Laptop and Blackberry.
Requirements:
Required Experience: COMPETENCIES: The successful candidate must also have a track record of closing deals, be a high achiever, possess analytical skills, and provide alternative logistical solutions. The candidate must also have had an experience of selling in the same industry and territory, both import and export airfreight, for more than 5 years.
