Sherwin-Williams Assistant Manager Training Program The Paint Stores Group (PSG) Assistant Management Training Program within The Sherwin-Williams Company is designed to provide you with all the skills necessary for a successful career in management and/or outside professional sales. The Program includes self-study modules, structured on-the-job training, classroom instruction at our regional training facilities, as well as ongoing education throughout your career. Training topics include: paint and associated products, customer service, professional sales and marketing, credit and accounts receivable management, human resources management, profit and loss and merchandising management. Job Description: The Assistant Store Manager handles day-to-day store operations and other responsibilities that enable the store manager to focus on sales development and outside sales activities. Ensure the satisfaction of both wholesale and do-it-yourself customers and build positive long-term relationships with them Handle store merchandising, stock rotation and replenishment, and housekeeping functions Sell, including helping the store manager develop the store's annual sales plan Handle the store's accounts receivable function Communicate effectively with customers, employees and other business partners Make decisions regarding pricing, credit and other customer issues Manage their time and resources effectively Analyze market conditions: competition, trends, issues and opportunities Basic Requirements: - Must have a valid Driver's License - Must have High school Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or a business-related college diploma preferred. - Must submit to a background screening which may include driving, credit and criminal history - Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment - Must be willing to work all scheduled hours which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation Fax or e-mail your resume to: Attn: Tanya Fitzgerald, Recruitment Coordinator Email: Fax:
