Business Sales Leadership Development Program - Technical Sales
The Business Sales Leadership Development Program - Technical Sales offers an opportunity for recent college graduates with a technical degree to fast track their business-to-business sales career with AT&T. This six month paid program will offer participants an exciting future with the industry's leading services and solutions provider.
Participants will complete a five month training program at the AT&T Business Sales Leadership Center, located in Atlanta, Georgia. With instructor-led and web-based training, as well as hands-on application, individuals will learn the communications industry from the inside out while discovering the value of initiative and entrepreneurial thinking. The program encompasses developing in-depth AT&T product knowledge (including Wireless and Wireline, IP, Data & Voice) and systems knowledge while immersing in our innovative culture.
During the sixth month of the program, participants will relocate to an assigned target market and work closely with the sales team, shadowing seasoned sales professionals and furthering their technical knowledge through this ""on the job"" experience. After successful completion of the six month Business Sales Leadership Development Program - Technical Sales, graduates will transition into a Technical Sales Consultant (TSC) position. As part of the sales team, the TSC supports 6-8 sales professionals and provides technical sales support to ensure successful customer integration and implementation of established company products. The TSC will be responsible for consulting with enterprise customers and providing technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, and installation and maintenance of company services and solutions.
Qualifications: Required Qualifications: - Undergraduate or graduate technical degree (Computer Science, IT, MIS, CIS degrees preferred)
- Minimum of a 3.2 GPA
- Passion for technology and to be in a technical sales career path
- Experience creating value through solutions and presenting value propositions to customers
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Effective critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize projects and to handle multiple demands simultaneously
- Requires flexibility

- Ability and ambition to thrive in a fast paced sales environment
- Graduated within past three (3) years
- Willing and able to relocate to another territory in the US
- Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle per transportation needs of the market
