Job Description
Working as the Direct Marketing Manager, you will be considered as a subject matter expert and a direct salesperson for our complete suite of direct marketing solutions. You will work closely with our advertising specialists and sales leadership to promote, integrate, education and sell our direct marketing solutions (DM, EM, SMS, CRM, automated marketing systems, specialty lists, etc) to small to medium size businesses. Position reports to General Manager of Sales.
Summary of Position:
• Act as the local SME and resource for our multi-media sales team in both general and vertical (Automotive, Restaurants, Contractors, Healthcare, Political, Legal, etc) segments.
•Work toward exceeding the assigned direct marketing sales goal.
•Work with multi-media sales team to assist in the sale of Digital Express direct mail products through field coaching, training and collateral
• Conduct one-on-one sessions and group training seminars for both internal and external customers.
•Direct Marketing Manager will:
o Conduct needs analysis and design custom direct marketing campaigns for SMBs customers.
o Campaigns will consist of DM, EM, SMS, CRM, and automated marketing systems and full service programs. Provides One-on-one consultations to customers on targeting through demographic selection tool within Digital Express system
o Manage multiple internal and external relationships
Qualifications: Required Qualifications:
Four or more years experience selling direct marketing solutions (DM, EM, SMS, CRM, Marketing Automation systems)
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
Some overnight travel may be required
Desired Qualifications:
• One or more years sales training experience
• 4 year business degree
• Print selling and training experience.
