Brand Intelligence Manager (Sports Marketing/Retail)

As the Brand Intelligence Manager you will be responsible for enabling our ability to monitor the overall strength and health of our company's Brand across the globe. You will oversee the global Brand Strength Monitor (BSM) program, social media monitoring and campaign tracking to develop a robust understanding of consumer perceptions of our company's Brand and our competitors over time. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders to incorporate brand health learnings into our company's brand planning process.

As the BSM program manager, you'll work on a day-to-day basis with the market research agency partner to manage scope, budget, timelines and deliverables. In addition, you will collaborate with Geographies and Global Categories to ensure their needs are incorporated into the BSM. You will lead the creation of BSM input into the quarterly review process, ensuring alignment with Geographies and Global Categories. As part of this, you will conduct analyses around BSM data, identifying opportunities and threats to the Brand. You will collaborate with key business and brand partners to provide context and elevate key issues through creative storytelling and data visualization.

In addition to managing the current BSM program, you will work closely with stakeholders to drive the development of the Next Generation BSM, including integrating social media monitoring into the program, establishing a monitoring framework and developing processes for incorporating findings into overall planning processes.

You will also manage all aspects of initiative based quantitative market research projects. You'll work with internal clients to define research objectives and identify and manage agencies, including research design, data analysis and reporting. Projects may focus on understanding consumer attitudes and usage to inform initiative plans or evaluating campaigns around key sports moments such as Olympics and World Cup.


Requirements for this position include:

ú Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics or a related field
ú 5+ years' work experience in Analytics, Marketing Research, Consumer Insights and/or Brand Marketing (an additional 2 years' relevant professional experience is accepted in lieu of a degree)
ú 2+ years experience in quantitative market research
ú Experience with Social Media monitoring preferred
ú Strong Excel and Power Point skills
ú Demonstrated project management skills and ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
ú Strong analytical skills and experience, including familiarity with statistical and data collection methodologies
ú Exceptional ability to analyze data to provide insights and make recommendations
ú Experience working with and managing external agency partners
ú Experience working within a global organization or demonstrated ability to work and communicate with a diverse team
ú Knowledge of our company's organization preferred
ú Excellent written and verbal communication skills
