Business Development Director - Healthcare - SF

NAVIGANT CONSULTING, INC. We focus on industries undergoing substantial regulatory or structural change including healthcare, energy and financial and insurance services, and on the issues driving these transformations.

Position: Director, Business Development, Healthcare


Location: San Francisco, CA



Responsibilities:


 


 


 


Develop new revenue opportunities for Navigant Consulting Inc.'s Healthcare Practice. The primary target market for this activity is C-level executives within the healthcare industry (provider and payor)

Build relationships and engage in activity designed to generate qualified leads, which will then be closed by NCI practitioners with support from the BDD


 


 


 


Support our national business development outreach initiatives, which will require the BDD to initiate and organize meetings and phone calls with prospective clients, prepare letters and email, and participate in preparation of sales collateral



Qualifications


:


 


 


 



10 years of relevant business development work experience selling consulting services to target markets


 


 


 



Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university. Advanced degrees, such as an MBA or MPH, are a plus


 


 


 



Proven revenue generation of $4MM to $5MM per year


 


 


 



Extensive healthcare knowledge and experience selling into healthcare providers and payors


 


 


 



Excellent interpersonal and writing skills


 


 


 



Experience working in either healthcare organizations or consulting firms is a plus, but also not required


 


 


 



Highly motivated, meticulous and energetic individual willing to work within in a team structure


 


 


 



Close attention to detail, including careful record keeping with regard to all sales activity
