Business Development Manager

Immediate Need to support a Region in the S.E. for a well established Services Provider. Company was founded and is Headquarted in the U.S.

Travel is 50%

MUST have experience in SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) and outsourcing


Perfer someone with Applications services and  global solutions experience.

Key is solutions selling / large accounts / Hunter vs. Farmer, however needs to Manage Accounts as well. Important to understand and be familiar with different technology.
Must have the ability to sell and leverage additional business from a Client and to navigate an organization to develop additional business.  True business development.


This individual will be responsible for driving sales within the Component Services suite of offerings.  These services cover the following:  Applications Development, Applications Support/Maintenance, Data Management, QA/Testing Services, Deployment Services, Inventory Services, and Support Services.
  Individual will be asked to work closely with the lead generators/inside sales force to educate, meet with existing clients and to identify, sell and close new services opportunities. 
Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Create and execute a strategy for growing services revenues and overall awareness of Services portfolio offerings.
  • Provide leadership, support and education for internal Account Managers..
    • Increased exposure to customer’s business initiatives
    • Effective value messaging
  • Attend client meetings with internal Account Managers to help promote and sell services.
  • Track and drive a services pipeline. Work with internal Account Managers and clients to close deals.
  • Work closely with DBO and DNA to forge solid partnership and drive integration with local Account Managers.
  • Utilize existing  sales techniques to help drive business (contact management, sales training, etc.).
  • Accountability to Regional Director:
    • Bi-monthly sales reports and associated pipeline calls
    • Delivery forecasting
    • Regional strategy execution
    • Documentation of best practices, case studies and methodologies as it relates to wins in the market.
