POSITION OVERVIEW We are currently seeking an experienced sales professional for a Business Development Manager role to execute business to business outside sales for the Queens and Brooklyn areas. Primary responsibilities of a Business Development Manager include the following:
Establish, develop and foster quality business relationships within these 2 New York City boroughs to generate new business partnerships and clients Establish relationships with potential clients to distinguish AlliedBarton from our competitors Prospect through cold calling and other methods of lead generation to schedule appointments and follow up with potential clients Strategically coordinate schedule/travel to optimize client meetings throughout the territory Analyze client needs to professionally prepare, submit and present accurate and timely formal proposals Conduct all business with the highest of ethical and professional standards by always championing the Dare to be GREAT philosophy Collaborate with the AlliedBarton operations team in the region to demonstrate the resources and expertise of AlliedBarton to clients during the sales process to ensure confidence in the value and competence of our operation after the sale during implementation of services Execute high level of integrity and trust with both internal and external customers. Maintain confidentiality of all information and data This position reports to the Director, Business Development who is based in the Long Island office.
Requirements
5+ Years of B2B sales experience Must live within the Queens or Brooklyn markets Must have sold into accounts in the Queens and Brooklyn markets Track record of proves sales success (Presidents Club Winner, Quota Buster, etc.) Must be a Hunter, Prospector and Account Manager Bachelors Degree Stable Job History Strong oral and written communication skills
We offer a competitive compensation package including base salary, structured commission plan (no cap), comprehensive benefits, world class training and opportunities for career advancement. Target total compensation is 100K to 120K (combination of base salary and incentives).
