Business Development Manager - Tax Services
Position Overview Our client is an international consulting firm that provides Finance and Accounting; Risk Advisory; and Tax solutions and is looking for a Business Development Manager for one of their regional Tax practices. This individual will be responsible for planning and executing sales efforts with targeted prospects and clients: promoting a full line of tax consulting, professional resourcing and staff augmentation solutions. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of targeted prospecting; facilitating sales meetings; relationship development; ensuring continued customer satisfaction; and delivering profitable revenue growth.
Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager will
team with local Tax Practice Directors and Tax subject-matter-experts to introduce our client’s tax expertise to prospects and clients in a four-state region
develop sales strategies and plans and drive business with new and existing clients; responsible for a $2M annual quota
act as an advocate for clients and assess client satisfaction throughout projects
represent our client in the business community through membership and participation in professional organizations and conferences
act as a resource to local sales and consulting team members to increase client satisfaction and revenues
Requirements
Over eight years of experience in a solutions sales environment selling customized consulting engagements
More than three years of experience selling professional services that include Tax services; general understanding of State, Local, Federal, and International Tax
Successful experience working with teams that include partners, managing directors, project managers, and consultants
Proven track record with $1M+ annual quotas; demonstrated ability to manage sales funnels and track activity in CRM software
Willingness and ability to travel in a four-state region
