Job Summary
The Center Manager will be responsible for optimizing the sales performance of the center through the development and implementation of sales initiatives. This person must measure the effectiveness of the sales programs and effectively employ strategies for profitable growth. The Center Manager affects client satisfaction and the efficient operations of the center.
Job Duties
Conduct complimentary Weight Loss and Health Profiles with prospects for enrollment into appropriate weight loss program.
Conduct sales consultations with new members developing individualized programs to motivate members for long term success while providing education on the science of weight loss.
Review and analyze monthly Profit and Loss statements and successfully manage the cost statements and successfully manage the costs on controllable center expenses.
Identify all referrals and prospects for potential sales.
Ability to recognize demographic information on center location to target prospective clients.
Meet monthly sales quotas for both personal and center sales and promote new Medifast products as released.
Implement center sales programs to increase revenue and profitability.
Direct staff in sale procedures, policies and activities.
Recognize and reward staff for performance.
Coach staff on performance and professional development.
Foster a culture of client satisfaction through educated and empowered staff.
Measure client satisfaction through surveys and exit interviews.
Deliver exceptional customer service to clients.
Lead center staff in procedures, policies and tasks.
Experience and Education
Weight Loss/Weight Management
Health/Fitness
Have 5 years of sales experience with 3 years in a retail commission environment
Have experience closing ""large ticket"" items
Knowledge and Skills
Basic understanding of the science of weight loss and healthy lifestyles.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate both over the phone and face-to-face.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office programs.
Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Team oriented, organized, attentive to detail, enthusiastic, and hardworking.
Strong assessment skills, empathy and sensitivity to member needs.
Must have strong interpersonal skills to understand the sensitive nature of the member.
