Channel Marketing Manager
The primary role of the Manager, Channel Marketing is to optimize 3rd party telesales vendor partners to acquire and retain residential and small commercial account sales of natural gas, electricity and other MXenergy products and services.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage day to day relationships and explore new opportunities with existing vendor partners.
• Identify, test and evaluate new partners.
• Collaborate with vendors to maintain telemarketing representative staffing levels and structure incentive and motivation programs to improve productivity.
• Train telemarketing representatives in sales and phone techniques and product awareness.
• Work with internal teams and vendor partners to select and manage lead lists and monitor list penetration to ensure adequate supply of leads are maintained to sustain productivity.
• Conduct regularly scheduled remote call monitoring sessions with all vendor partners to evaluate call quality and provide feedback and coaching to teams to improve results.
• Work with all internal departments, including pricing, risk, marketing and sales to forecast residential and small commercial telemarketing sales activity, and submit weekly revisions to maintain accuracy.
• Identify and resolve operational issues that affect program performance.
• Monitor and analyze expenses to provide recommendations for maximizing cost/performance efficiencies.
• Ensure the timely and effective delivery of all campaigns, following internal cross functional protocol (i.e., Legal, Pricing, Fulfillment, Sales Ops, Customer Care, Compliance, Regulatory, QA, Finance/Credit, Order Management, Risk, Business Integration and IT).
• Meet or exceed sales and channel growth goals at or within company budgetary objectives.
• Work closely with Sales Operations team to ensure all rates are available and able to support current activities and collaborate in fixing vendor treatable enrollment rejects.
• Perform all job functions within the established internal controls framework for the area, including the key controls identified for Sarbanes-Oaxley compliance. Ensure that any known internal control problems/issues/concerns are identified and communicated on a timely basis
• Perform duties as assigned

Communication with Vendors
• Develop effective scripting, including continuous revisions to improve productivity
• Ensure that all price releases, scripts and rate sheets are sent out in the correct format and on time.
• Communicate and handle regulatory compliance issues.
• Create and execute quarterly performance improvement action plans.
• Review vendor invoicing to ensure compliance with contracted terms.

Analysis
• Create weekly key performance indicators (KPI’s) and relevant reports that detail partner performance.
• Track, analyze and report marketing campaigns and ancillary offerings.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of sales or marketing related experience in the utilities, electricity and/or natural gas industries
• Proven telesales program management and 3rd party vendor management
• Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally within a group
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication ability
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skill
• Ability to manage and support clients in a dynamic business environment
• Demonstrate problem solving techniques
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
