Job Summary:
THG Events is currently interviewing for select business-to-business Sales Corporate Sales Executive candidates to work in the San Diego office, who are committed to excellence and long-term sales growth.
As an Corporate Sales Executive, you will be responsible for contacting top-level decision makers throughout North America, selling executive coporate packages to the most sought-after sporting events in the world. In this role. Events ranging from the US Open & MLB All-Star Game, to the Superbowl and Masters Tournament.
In order to prepare you for this challenging role; you will take part in our comprehensive training program, which focuses on product knowledge and developing proven effective sales skills to begin advancing your career.
Working exclusively over the phone, the role of Corporate Sales Executive will require you to research and contact senior level executives, to sell them exclusive VIP hospitality opportunities during these prestigious events to entertain and incentivise their top clients and staff.
Core competencies / Qualifications:
Excellent verbal communications skills and solid relationship-building ability. Strong "deal-closing" skills. The drive to exceed expectations and outperform your peers. Fearless you should not be intimidated by the challenge of "pitching" a CEO or President of a company about a VIP corporate sports experience, in order for them to attend some of the most sought-after sporting events in the world to enhance their client business. Work current Clients and develop/build your own client base utilizing proven sales techniques including: research, prospecting, probing, lead generation, cold calling and closing. You should be self-motivated, dynamic, and be able to work in a team atmosphere. Demonstrate an ability to meet or exceed set sales targets. Ability to effectively communicate with C-level executives from Fortune 1000 companies. Ability to think creatively, independently. You should have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, be a self-starter and have a " play to win " attitude. Have a passion for overcoming obstacles and have the desire to build a great career in sales. Having a successful track record in sales (is a definite asset). However, candidates who indicate a strong desire to develop their sales skills in order to succeed in a corporate sales environment will also be considered.
