Customer Marketing Manager---Existing and New Business Job
Description
Develop insight based, custom marketing solutions to achieve National Customer's business objectives. Position will have responsibility for new business and existing customers. Develop appropriate market research, utilizing custom research and syndicated data, to support customer's objectives and programming recommendations. Manage agency and internal/external resources to achieve goals. Collaborate and partner with sales counterparts to drive the marketing agenda on existing and new foodservice customers. Role is based in NY/Purchase and requires appoximately 35% travel.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a B.A. or B.S. coupled with 7+ years of marketing experience. MBA and consumer packaged goods, retail or foodservice experience preferred. Business Development and Customer experience strongly preferred. Restaurant and lodging industry knowledge is a plus. This professional should possess a strong knowledge/expertise of consumer marketing delivery and management, from insights, strategy, direction, multiple targets and agencies, and message delivery. Expertise in creative agency management and ability to mobilize a diverse team of internal and external constituents is critical. Strong leadership skills (i.e. able to present to senior management and external senior executives) and ability to influence and understand varied points of view is necessary. Strong people and relationship building skills are critical. The ideal candidate should have strong presentation skills and have a strong analytical background, including experience with syndicated data ex. IRI/Nielsen, Spectra, CREST, etc.). Previous food service marketing, consulting or business development experience is preferred.
