Description
Work closely with key strategic customer to define account specific marketing strategies and programs to support achievement of volume and sales growth targets over a multi-year time horizon Strengthen the customer partnership by tailoring marketing activity to customer's key business objectives Develop appropriate market research, utilizing custom research and syndicated data, to support customer's objectives and programming recommendations Manage Agency and internal/external resources to achieve aforementioned goals Drive the process and help to develop, execute, and communicate programs to all constituents Oversee post-analysis of customer performance both with and without marketing programming Develop relationship with Customer's senior marketing executives Collaborate and partner with sales and operations counterparts to drive the marketing agenda
Can be based in Plano, TX or Chicago, IL
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a B.A. or B.S. coupled with 7+ years of marketing experience. MBA and consumer packaged goods, retail or foodservice experience preferred. This professional should possess both a qualitative as well as a quantitative skill set combining strong conceptual abilities along with a strong analytical acumen. Strong knowledge/expertise of consumer marketing delivery and management, from insights, strategy, direction, multiple targets and agencies, and message delivery Customer management experience strongly preferred. Ideally specific to the Restaurant industry. Knowledge/expertise/aptitude in creative agency management and ability to mobilize a diverse team of internal and external constituents. Strong leadership skills (i.e. able to present to senior management as well as external customer and agency partners) and ability to influence and understand varied points of view. Strong people and relationship building skills are imperative for this position. Strong written and strong presentation skills are relevant as well. This professional must possess a strong analytical background and have worked with syndicated date (ex. IRI/Nielsen, Spectra, CREST, etc.). Previous food service marketing or consulting experience is preferred.
