We are looking for an individual to ensure inventory is accurately shipped out of the Distribution Center.
Our Distribution Centers play a critical role in helping us maintain our reputation as a fashion and service leader. Our seven centers serve as hubs from which the latest, most sought after merchandise is sent directly to our stores - and to our customers. When you join our team, you are welcomed into a family dedicated to supporting our salespeople, our stores and our customers.
The ideal outbound employee acts independently under general direction, uses good judgment in all decisions and actions and is committed to providing outstanding customer service every day. This is a part-time, 11PM shift and must be willing to work flexible hours during high volume and event periods.
Responsibilities * Communicate effectively with transportation personnel while loading trailers * Load cartons, pallets, containers and fixtures/equipment in a variety of sizes and weights onto trailer (often overhead or while on ladder) * Operate pallet jack, dock-plate and other equipment, as necessary * Monitor conveyor equipment for jammed cartons and resolve issues * Unload transfer cartons and stage to appropriate area * Ensure physical inventory matches logical inventory in the Distribution Center warehouse management system * Utilize best practices following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quick Reference Cards (QRCs) * Provide minimal direction for team, as appropriate Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * Basic computer and Radio Frequency (RF) device skills * Strong organization and time management skills * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively * Clear and effective verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
