Development Test Engineer

This job will involve working as a member of a multi-functional team to develop and qualify for production use, various turbine products including gas turbine Auxiliary Power Units and air turbine starters. Specific responsibilities include:
*Apply engineering knowledge to plan and coordinate development and certification testing of gas turbine auxiliary power units. Develop setups and test matrices to ensure customer requirements are achieved. Prepare test plans and procedures.
*Analyze test results and document in test reports.
*Coordinate and direct build of gas turbine test articles.
*Conduct tests in cooperation with mechanics, technicians, and related technical departments.
*Troubleshoot and identify product design weaknesses and facilitate redesign and retest activity.
Must be proficient in use of common PC software packages and some software programming.

Must have working knowledge of engine instrumentation, computer data acquisition systems and data reduction techniques. Must be able to communicate technical information clearly in written and verbal English.
Must work well with others and be a strong self-starter.
