Overview :
Macy's, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for Director- Compensation-Stores which will be located in Cincinnati, OH.
Key Accountabilities :
Oversee administration of executive and hourly compensation programs for the Macy's stores organization
Work strategically with business partners on company objectives to ensure alignment of compensation practices
Lead competitive market research to establish pay practices that support the attraction and retention of desired talent
Develop and implement new and revised compensation strategies and bonus incentive programs, policies and procedures
Provide advice to HR and business partners regarding pay decision and compensation policy
Skills Summary :
5 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience in compensation, HR, finance or retail store operations; prior experience in compensation preferred
Previous leadership experience in a compensation/human resources function is preferred
Advanced analytical, consulting and influencing skills, with a track record of identifying issues, formulating solutions, and motivating others to reach resolution or consensus
Effective project manager, who has experience defining a project, developing the overall project plan with clear deliverables and timeline, and managing the project team
Proficiency in MS office suite applications, oracle PeopleSoft platform experience preferred
Superior communication skills, written and verbal; able to effectively work with all levels within the organization
