Director of Environmental Services
The largest commercial cleaning franchisor in the world is searching for a Director of Environmental Services to join our executive team. The ideal candidate will have a successful sales track record in the healthcare sector.
Position Summary:
The Director of Healthcare Services is responsible for identifying, developing and managing a pipeline of hospitals seeking environmental services for their facilities. The role will report directly to our President and will focus on aggressively targeting C-level hospital executives to achieve targeted revenue growth for Jani-King through new business development efforts with these hospital systems.
The Director of Environmental Services must utilize consultative sales skills to influence the decision making process with prospective clients. In addition, a demonstrated track record of successfully selling contracted services to C-level executives in hospitals and/or integrated healthcare delivery systems executives is vital. Specific Responsibilities include:
Lead a targeted and consultative sales effort toward hospitals and integrated healthcare systems.
Generate new leads, qualify opportunities and capture new business via closed contracts.
Meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
Develop and present business cases to C-level executives in hospitals and/or integrated healthcare delivery system executives to identify and confirm the issues and problems that clients are facing and construct a compelling value proposition that is ROI/performance-based for each client.
Establish and maintain contacts at the highest level of decision making authority within prospective client organizations.
Strategize with Provider Market Leader on all opportunities to ensure solutions are being effectively sold; accurate forecast respective opportunities based on realistic assessments.
Work with leadership team to develop a strategic marketing/sales plan to achieve the desired annual revenue targets.
Deliver competitive market intelligence to the Marketing team.
Monitor future contract financial reviews and updates.
Maintain and support client satisfaction at a level that ensures account retention.
Maintain an active stewardship program at multiple levels within our company structure.
The Director as oversight for all healthcare operations, compliance, writing and implementing policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
5-10 years experience successfully selling contracted services to C- level hospital and/or integrated healthcare delivery systems executives.
Outstanding track record of achieving sales objectives within a challenging environment.
Proven capability to deliver executive level presentations, including financial projections and customer value propositions.
Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare system in the areas of environmental operations, financial analysis, business development, marketing, legal and ethical practices.
Proven ability to conduct territory planning and development.
Ability to investigate and understand customers buying motivations/barriers and ability to push client to a decision.
Comfort in learning and becoming conversant in a clinical and environmental services discipline.
Strong internal and external communication skills.
