About the position
We are in search of a highly skilled, results-oriented Director of Inside Sales with experience building and scaling SaaS inside sales teams and business models and a strong desire to succeed in a dynamic fast-growth SaaS organization. The Director will provide vision, inspired leadership, and creative solutions in leading our Inside Sales team to generate new business by developing new prospects and identifying their needs, to sell Everbridge products and services, and to develop superior and enduring customer satisfaction. Specific duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Utilizing strong leadership, problem-solving skills and technical expertise, drive team to successfully achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual quotas; establish and monitor weekly performance metrics • Hire, train and motivate Inside Sales team to increase sales opportunities and deepen relationships with new customers • Provide regular feedback and mentoring to team regarding performance, educational and personal development as well as professional advancement • Develop and refine tools for monitoring success and improving performance • Coordinate with other departments on technical, business and deployment issues • Provide regular reporting on team efforts with performance metrics and client feedback • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills through all levels of communication • Contribute to the knowledgebase and other Everbridge resources to help build the best customer experience • Work closely with the team to ensure that all company and personal goals are met or exceeded • Leverage dashboard tools in to track and report team revenue and pipeline while accurately forecasting future growth
The ideal candidate will possess:
• 5 - 7 sales management experience • Experience building and scaling SaaS inside sales teams and business models. • BA or BS degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA preferred • Strong analytical skills • Experience in developing sales reps early in their careers • Excellent supervisory, communication and organization skills • Solid experience with or similar CRM • Tenacious drive for success; strong consultative sales experience • Strong motivator with experience in building a team • Self-starting learner who thrives under pressure and enjoys success • Excellent communication skills and strong organizational skills • Dedication to individual development, challenging teamwork, and new technology • Flexibility in a dynamically growing, evolving company
Specialized Skills and Knowledge: Experience in the sales of SaaS web-based applications, telecommunication services, Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery products, or related products highly desirable.
