Billion dollar global financial service/technology conglomerate (headquartered in NYC) seeks 5+ years product development experience in News, Social Media and/or Public Relations and SaaS applications. (MUST HAVE SOCIAL MEDIA, PR BACKGROUND WITH SaaS SKILLS) Responsible for gathering product and services development feedback from sales, industry leaders, customers and prospects. Assess overall competitive environment as well as specific competitive products, features, functionality, strengths and weakness. Understand regulatory issues as they pertain to respective business verticals and if they require development and/or present unique opportunities to innovate. Responsible for prioritizing new development and setting overall product development strategy; primarily for Public Relations, News and Social Media Business Lines. Draft detailed software requirement documents identifying specific deliverables. Must have successful track record building enterprise corporate SaaS offerings a must. Experience with SEO, streaming media, video, collaboration tools, visualization and social media highly preferred. Financial Services industry a +. MS Suite.
