The Opportunity
You will have the opportunity to lead and support multiple operational, analytical and informational functions for the sales team with an emphasis on speed, efficiency and execution. 

• Oversee selection of and development of CRM system and technology for the sales force, including requirements, planning, user acceptance testing and implementation
• Lead initiative to create and implement talent development programs for sales reps and managers
• Collaborate on and deploy regulatory compliance programs, sales policies and sales procedures
• Conduct ongoing research to stay abreast of coding and regulatory changes impacting ML business and services.  Disseminate information to sales team
• Coordinate cross-functional team to organize Sales Meetings
• Facilitate the design and ongoing administration of incentive compensation plans for the sales force
• Develop, administer and measure sales incentive programs
• Conduct sales analysis, sales targeting analysis and outcomes/ROI reporting
• Implement effective customer targeting and reporting tools to support on-going sales objectives and assist management team in evaluating sales productivity/performance
• Develop presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor all competitor websites for new product information, and service offerings and communicate to sales team
• Collaborate with VP Sales on sales forecasting
• Provide input on territory alignment strategies, measure effectiveness and recommend refinements
• Serve as a key liaison between Sales and Marketing

Desired Skill Set 

• Bachelor’s degree required.  Masters degree desirable
• At least 5 years experience in a sales operations management position
• Upbeat and energetic with ability to succeed in a fast paced, fast growing business environment
• Strategic thinker combined with outstanding tactical abilities
• Strong sense of urgency
• Facility with spreadsheets and sales analytics
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Prior experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or laboratory environment a plus
• Ability to learn and understand Millennium business and services rapidly
• Outstanding track record of timely execution of projects and assignments
• Excellent organizational skills
• Keen attention to detail and follow up
• Proactive attitude to assignments and self-starter
