Director - Sales Support THE EDGE BENEFITS GTA, ON, CANADA Posted Jul 19, 2010 1 Position(s) The Edge Benefits, the leading provider of Simplified Lifestyle Protection Solutions in Canada, is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity in the capacity of Director - Sales Support. The successful candidate will be responsible for responsible for all aspects of sales support for our National Distribution team of Sales Consultants and Regional Vice Presidents. Key responsibilities will include Development and management of tools that empower our field force including, expense management, competitive analysis, CRM capabilities, and assistance on case development and implementation. Additional Responsibilities Include: Develop strong working relationships not only with our Field Reps and Managers but also with our key advisors and distributors. Assist in the development of the Success System for training and coaching our Field Reps toward Regional Business plan goals. Develop effective two way communications between Field and Home Office and coordinate the communication needs of our field reps, advisors and distributors. Ensure that we succeed in our Seminar and Webinar Effectiveness. Coordinate the communication needs of our field reps, advisors and distributors. Develop and facilitate an advisory network of advisors across Canada. Take the lead on facilitating effective Field calls and meetings. Assist in the development and management of Field Rep, Manager, Advisor and Distributor compensation. and incentive programs in line with various contracting agreements. Effectively promote our strengths and differentiators. Leverage the key Home Office relationships in problem solving. Act as an effective Edge advocate in representing the mission vision and values of our organization. Competencies: Relevant University or College degree/diploma. Five Years Experience in the insurance industry. Understanding of the independent advisor and MGA marketplace. Strong computer skills - MS CRM, MS Office. Capability of understanding management level sales reporting, visualizing trends and recommending tactics. Strong relationship management skills. Strong communication and presentation skills. Creative and independent thinker eager to work in a fast paced and fluid environment.
