ADP TCS offers customized tax solutions for companies looking to take full advantage of the many tax credits and incentives that are available via federal, state and local programs. Level of position (Tax Manager, Sr. Tax Manager, Director Tax) will be determined based on candidate experience and background once interview process is complete.
This position is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership in the client service organization with the goals of delivering world class service and driving business unit growth; responsible for providing in depth subject matter expertise to the California Enterprise Zone/West Region Business Incentives Team. This includes delivering stellar service, team leadership, implementing initiatives, creating value- added revenue opportunities, implementing revenue generating initiatives, ensuring work quality, identifying and developing talent, and driving the organization's growth in the region.
1. Responsible for delivering world-class client service with a focus on client retention and satisfaction. Manage and foster Fortune 500 client tax credit and incentive engagements.
2. Coach and develop tax credit and incentive client service teams.
3. Support sales efforts with prospective clients by participating in sales presentations. Drive additional business development by positioning TCS products with existing clients.
4. Demonstrate deep knowledge of California Enterpise Zone Creditsand multi-state tax credit and incentive programs. Effectively apply income tax laws to client situations.
5. Establish and manage against operational performance metrics. Drive operational efficiencies by monitoring, enhancing and streamlining process flows with emphasis on automation, quality control and efficiency.
6. Strategize on how to position TCS as an extension of the client’s Tax, HR or Real Estate departments and capture additional incentive opportunities.
7. Partner with other senior management to develop short and long term client retention strategies and is responsible for implementing those strategies.
8. Work with peers, Client Service leadership and senior management to understand client/processing commitments/goals and ensure that all service level and quality targets are consistently met or exceeded.

1. At least 7-10 years Client Service experience preferably in the Consulting, Tax or Accounting arena plus substantial Fortune 500 engagement management experience.
2. Demonstrated CAEZ tax credit and incentive experience. Tax consulting and compliance management experience preferred.
3. Recognized as an individual with outstanding leadership skills, client service orientation, professionalism, and business planning capacity.
4. Proven ability to achieve financial and service results.
5. Knowledge of strategic selling techniques.
6. Proven ability in effective collaboration and interpersonal skills.
7. Possesses excellent verbal/written communication skills.
