We currently have an excellent opportunity with our Kidde Fire Fighting business for a high-potential, results-oriented Director of Sales & Marketing with proven leadership experience. Our Exton, PA, location is in beautiful suburban Philadelphia, and offers an excellent quality of life with a variety of recreational, cultural, and academic opportunities of which to take advantage. Incumbent will have overall responsibility for all sales and marketing activities worldwide for our various product lines, which includes firefighting and industrial hose, foam concentrate, foam proportioning systems, and foam firefighting equipment, and will be expected to maximize order intake and meet or exceed the target metrics for sale, revenue, margin and cash flow, and customer satisfaction.
Job responsibilities will include:
-Initiate contacts and develop the marketing plan towards customers.
-Lead negotiations and relationships with customers at all different organizational levels.
-Develop and implement plans for expansion and growth within our target markets.
-Lead the development of our product/systems offers for the PPOG markets.
-Suggest alternative solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently.
-Manage the measurement and reporting for systems availability, performance, volume, and delivery of services.
-Work collaboratively with various functional units to improve service quality and deliver process improvements for our products to meet changing customer requirements.
-Servicing large corporate accounts from a CRM and sales perspective.
-Drive positive changes within the organization as a whole and within the sales group in particular.

-15-20 years' experience selling technical, engineered systems, preferably with at least 5 years selling into the PPOG industry.
-Experience in selling to top management and to "specifiers."
-Proven ability to relate product features to customer benefits.
-Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation skills, and customer focus.
-Strong leadership skills with proven experience developing a sales team around a common vision.
-Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical decision-making skills.
