Director, Communications for Undergraduate College (#20091341)
The NYU Stern School of Business seeks a Director of Communications for its prestigious Undergraduate College. The Director will be responsible for overseeing strategy and execution of all marketing communications and public relations efforts for the College. The Director will be responsible for determining the communications flow and experience across a six-year period - from high school student/prospective student to alumna/us. The Director will help craft messages for the deans and will serve as the first point of contact for external media requests.
The Director will also be responsible for building strong relationships with key partners within the business school and at key university offices including admissions, career services and public affairs. The Director will represent the Colleges interests and serve as a key spokesperson for the College in school-wide initiatives including a forthcoming overhaul of the Schools web site.
Candidates for this position should have at least five years of demonstrated experience with increasing responsibility and proven track record in marketing communications (including social media) and public relations. The ideal candidate will have experience in both higher education and corporate, and will hold a masters degree.
