Fortune 500 distribution company seeks highly skilled District Sales Manager to help optimize sales and profitability of busy Seattle/Tacoma WA market.
Primary Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Vice President, Regional Sales, the District Sales Manager (DSM) will deploy strong business acumen and marketing savvy, to drive sales and develop long lasting partnerships with our high profile customers. With our reputation for service excellence, and brand name recognition, you and your team will flourish in a fast-paced environment. Your mission will be to identify, inspire, grow and develop a peak performance team (approximately 10 Account Managers/Farmers with an estimated annual spend in the $30 Million range).
We provide a comprehensive operations network to support your success. Our sales organization has resources including an expert team who can consult with you and your customers to discuss specific product lines, professional training and development programs, and our world-class e-commerce site. We provide the cutting edge technology and efficiency our customers both require and expect of us.
Key Qualifications/Requirements:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is preferred, but not required; MBA a plus.
Minimum seven to ten years B2B sales management experience required.
Demonstrate ability to motivate and achieve results through others.
Must be strategic, organized and technologically savvy in your approach to managing your district and team.
Should bring high-level problem solving, quantitative analysis and strong systems applications skills.
Understand financial reporting and have the ability to quantify business needs, costs/budgets, and economic earnings.
Possess excellent presentation skills, a strong customer focus, and the ability to manage change.
Demonstrate a track record of successful internal partner relationships that result in the achievement of sales and operations objectives.
