Responsible for the overall coordination, functional management and leadership of all individual direct sales activities and channels, including Multiple Dwelling Units (MDU), Cable Stores, Retail, etail, .com, Kiosk, Outbound Telemarketing and Tech Sales. Monitor the sales organization in order to meet the objectives of the Company's overall business plans and strategies. Drive change transformation and strategy execution to achieve specific business results. Create business strategy to focus on strengths, competitive advantage and differentiation. Incorporate broad knowledge to address complex, unusual and critical issues. Develop long-term plans that impact the achievement of business results. Recognize profitability and revenue potential in business opportunities. Demonstrate leadership versatility.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Establish both annual and monthly Individual Direct Sales objectives in coordination with the Company's business plan.
Provide annual individual direct sales plan and provide quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the plan.
Oversee compensation plans for all Individual Direct Sales personnel including salary structures, commission plans and bonus plans.
Coordinate the specific objectives of the individual direct sales plan with all of the functional departments of the Company.
Establish both market and target customer strategies for the Company. Redefines sales strategies and marketing plans.
Analyze and develop subscriber reports including sales, production, payroll, cost per sale, cost per save, sell-in rates and cash flow contribution to budgeted goals.
Formulate sales plans, operating budgets and revenue goals and participate in marketing decisions.
Build, implement and direct a viable sales team, ensuring subscriber growth and retention.
Redefine sales strategies and marketing plans.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills:
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent
Generally requires 15+ years’ related experience
Minimum 10 years’ experience working in a sales strategy shaping role in a highly competitive industry
Minimum 5 years’ of senior level consumer sales experience with a national company, preferably with a technology-oriented service business
Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a team and leading high profile initiative
Experience in corporate and field roles a plus
Prior P&L responsibility preferred
Strong quantitative, financial, communications and presentation skills required
Experience with cable TV technologies and operations preferred
