Job Description:


Generate new sales and revenue for the Energy business unit.  This is accomplished though lead generation and outside sales efforts, according to the plan and quota assigned to this position.



  • Generate new business opportunities through a variety of sales activities including cold calling, independent lead generation and prospect development to achieve the required level of sales funnel activity.

  • Achieve or exceed defined sales and revenue goals of the position.

  • Collaborate with sales personnel from other company business units on various sales efforts.

  • Maintain required reports regarding pending and closed sales activities.

  • Professionally interacts with PAETEC Energy’s partners/suppliers.

  • Other duties may be assigned.


 


Qualifications:



  • Energy industry experience preferable or minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in outside sales in a competitive service industry (i.e. Telecommunications). 

  • A Bachelor degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year university or college preferred.

  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to act independently toward achieving sales goals and objectives. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

  • Ability to grasp new concepts, technologies and products quickly and effectively.

  • Technical aptitude; adept at learning and absorbing technical product information quickly.
