Executive Account Manager [ERP Software]
The Senior Sales Account Representative reporting to the Sales VP will manage the entire sales process for the assigned or self-generated opportunities. He/she will follow-up on completed sale to produce repeat sales to existing customers; prospect for new business and clients; and follow-up on all sales leads assigned. He/she will also establish a sales business plan to achieve the established goals and objectives and meet personal sales quotas; develop account relationships, generally at the division and corporate level; and effectively promote both new and existing products to both current and potential customers. He/she will generally work on major accounts with multi-site potential.
This is a home office based position which requires candidates must currently reside in the San Francisco Bay area, Silicon Valley or L.A. with 7-12 years documented successful experience selling enterprise software to C level execs in life sciences or manufacturing. Only candidates meeting these requirements will be considered.
The ideal candidate will also possess the following:
Bachelor Degree in Business or any other field beneficial to the sales profession.
Has been trained on a solution selling methodology of selling.
At least 5 years enterprize software application sales experience in the life sciences or manufacturing.
Must have a good understanding of the manufacturing processes in the FDA regulated environment.
Must have sold to and have a strong knowledge of FDA regulated industries.
Have sold to senior managers, executives or “C" level people .
Have consistently met or exceeded quotas of at least $2M Software sales a year.
Be self motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator.
Have strong written, oral communication and presentation skills .
Have a commanding presence and has a can do/get it done attitude .
Is willing to generate his/her own pipeline.
