PRIMARY JOB DUTIES This position is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic sales/marketing plan for FleetNet America, Inc. Directs the sales/marketing growth and goal attainment from new and existing accounts. Identifies, prioritizes and implements, with the assistance of various functional areas, opportunities and projects aimed at improving sales/marketing and customer satisfaction levels. Directs the development of solutions and processes to existing areas for improvement and looks towards the future to anticipate potential improvement opportunities. Develops and fosters a team environment for all members of the sales/marketing staff. Understands and interprets sales/marketing goals and initiatives so that priorities can be balanced and timelines established in a cost effective manner. Directs the implementation and evaluates progress and success of the sales/marketing program. Leads management meetings and provides input for all projects under discussion. Directs successful utilization of the sales/marketing initiatives and fosters a cooperative relationship with the field sales/marketing and telesales/marketing organizations. Develops a departmental budget, ensure adherence to the budget, and takes corrective action, as required. Directly supervise all employees in the Sales / Marketing Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Develop, implement and continuously improve staff to ensure accurate and efficient operations. REQUIREMENTS College degree (post graduate degree a plus) High level of integrity and flexibility, with a positive team oriented "can-do" attitude Analytical and computer skills and strong attention to detail Professional appearance and attitude Possess significant professional knowledge 10 to 15 years of relevant sales management experience
