Emmis Marketing Group in Los Angeles, is currently seeking an energetic, highly confident, hard working, and self-motivated individual to join as a Experiential Marketing Business Development Manager. We are seeking a full time Experiential Marketing Business Development Manager, available immediately. In this capacity, the EMBDM will cultivate clients, manage projects and account work and execute marketing plans. Work could span multiple accounts, so multitasking and organization are a must.
Here is what we need from the ideal candidate:
- Expand our experiential marketing campaigns through solution based sales programs and cultivating new clients
- Demonstrated track record of a high degree of developmental business experience at the Marketing Director/Brand Manager/Regional Sales Manager level
- Evidence of high level prospecting for ideal customers, creating valid business reasons to get appointments, conducting effective customer needs analysis and closing skills.
- Proven success with proposal creation, presentation, execution and recap of comprehensive programs.
- Minimum of five (5) years media/marketing sales experience and a proven track record of success
- Demonstrated ability to develop trust and relationships easily
- Track Record of strong problem solving skills, high courage, business acumen, highly motivated to win and tireless work intensity.
- Existing relationships with key decision makers in relevant industries a plus.
- This is a Los Angeles based position
Here are the characteristics we are looking for to make this an ideal fit:
- Evidence of success in Emmis Marketing Group targeted categories (i.e. Automotive, Entertainment, Beverages, Telecom, Shoes, Apparel and any other relevant emerging categories)
- An understanding of consumer behavior and a desire to help advertisers with their marketing challenges.
- Be motivated by financial success and have the skill set to be in the top 1% of the sales organization.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and state mandated automobile insurance required.
- Ability to travel and work long hours.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision
- Ability to organize workload for effective implementation
- Strong customer and results orientation
- Sense of humor
