Federal Inside Sales Representative

ScienceLogic is seeking a Federal Inside Sales Representative to develop our business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for following up on inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns and outbound prospecting to our Federal Vertical.  The candidate will perform high-level opportunity qualification and scheduling of initial meetings for the outside sales representatives.  This position will be based out of the Reston, VA office.

 

Experience with Federal inside sales and social media are beneficial for success in this role. Candidates must have strong business development and communication skills combined with a basic understanding of technology infrastructure.

 

Main duties

  • Develop and aggressively identify sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calls & relationship development
  • Understand and effectively communicate ScienceLogic value propositions
  • Superior tenacity and objection handling skills
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and partners in the IT Operations sector
  • Detailed and consistent use of with emphasis on lead process and development

 

 

Experience and skills

  • 3+ years of Federal inside sales experience
  • Effective time management, ability to reach decision-makers and qualify sales opportunities
  • Demonstrable record of inside sales success against quota
  • Ability to call into different industries
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office, , LinkedIn, Jigsaw, and Input
