We are currently seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representatives to sell our security products and services to prospective clients in the Kern County area, based in Bakersfield. Characteristics Desired: A positive, upbeat attitude. A strong work ethic. Excellent organization, communication and people skills, and be highly competent using Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Word and Excel. Our candidate is a self-starter, achievement oriented, reliable, very attentive to detail, and enjoys meeting new people. He/she possesses a "can-do" attitude, likes being busy, and would much prefer being "out-in-the-field, visiting customer locations" to spending time at his/her desk. Job Requirements: 2-5 years of Business to Business outside, in-person, direct sales experience (not telephone sales, not route sales, not channel sales), preferably selling a product for a single up-front payment plus a recurring monthly charge (office equipment, uniform/laundry, and telco industries are all similar to our business in that regard). We sell a technology-based service and look for individuals with comparable experience. Ours is the market leading product; we do not sell on price. Youll find most of your leads yourself. Must be a results-driven self starter, who enjoys prospecting new clients and gaining new business. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Our compensation package includes salary, sales commissions, auto allowance, 401k, Section 125 plans, health insurance, paid holidays and vacations and a great environment filled with opportunity.
