G4S Wackenhut, a leader in the contract security services industry, has an immediate need for a General Manager for our Seattle and/or Portland market/office.
General Manager will be responsible for sales development, operation, administration and profitability of all G4S Wackenhut services within the Seattle and Portland markets through the application of sound business, financial, and human resources management practices.
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a proven track record of successfully managing complex and varied business operations. The selected individual must be able to communicate effectively with current and prospective customers, administrative personnel, and corporate and field management staff. Additional responsibilities include managing customer relations, maintaining control of local revenue and expenses, and driving local sales initiatives.
Strong organization and financial talents, effective communication skills, and the ability to coach staff and lead by example are all qualities we seek in this person.

Requirements:
Associate degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Finance, or a related field 5+ years management experience in the financial, sales growth, and team leadership aspects of a large semi-independent business enterprise Strong oral and written business communication skills Exceptional organizational,interpersonal, and customer service skills Demonstrated understanding of the cost factors associated with selling security services Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications Other Important Qualifications of this position include (but not required):
Prior physical security-related management experience in a multi-location environment Bachelor's Degree or above in Business Administration, Criminal Justice or other related fields Experience in solution sales or other service-industry sales ASIS International CPP certification
