POSITION: Global Sales Manager – IT Augmention
We are seeking a Global Sales Manager who will be responsible for the development and performance of strategic sales team in the Midwest Territory. Ideal candidate will high level strategic sales experience in Technology Outsourcing as an individual contributor, and as a Manager. Our client is a leading software outsourcing services company dedicated to service delivery, security, and global compatibility. This position will be responsible for increasing sales revenue of software offshore development services offered to clients and prospects. The Global Sales Manager will be tasked with expanding client base, and developing sales training programs to increase overall performance. This company primarily focuses on mid to large scale Financial or High Tech organizations.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES:
l Develop business strategy for each market in the Midwest to increase production and meet annual defined goals
l Prepare action plans to identify qualified leads and client referrals
l Develop and implement new marketing plans
l Work on an individual basis with each team member to map goals, and outline program to increase performance
l Maintain records of pricing, sales, and activity reports for each producer
l Create content for presentations tailored to meet each new client requirement
l Oversee proposal management and RFP responses
l Identifies and qualifies new sales opportunities, providing a consultative and value-added approach to develop relationships.
l Negotiates contractual terms and conditions, and works with the presales/PMs/Development teams to engage in full scope client implementation and delivery
l Work with team to builds a sales pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
l Maintains an ongoing relationship with prospective clients continuously assessing and communicating how this high end firm can meet their needs. .
l Track pipeline activity for each producer
l Travel required, including international
REQUIREMENTS:
l Four year degree or equivalent education and experience.
l Ten years of sales management experience in IT Outsourcing
l Experience selling to large, complex organizations
l Extensive CRM experience
l Experience working with global teams
l Proven leadership and ability to drive teams, and increase productivity
l Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
l Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
l Experience with selling offshore staff augmentation, Off Shore Development Center, and long term application support contracts is highly preferred.
l Previous experience in selling software development solutions to financial firms and High Tech firms are a plus
Excellent compensation, including base, commission, expense allowance
