We are looking for a Grooming Assistant to assist the Pet Stylist(s) in one of
PETCO's many Grooming Salons.

What You'll Be Doing:

. When not grooming, you'll bathe/brush, blow-dry, and/or apply conditioner on
dogs and cats that require haircuts
. Complete daily grooming payroll and commission paperwork
. Daily complete and file reminder cards for each pet groomed
. Assist with generating and developing the grooming business by utilizing
periods of time when not grooming pets to write and send customer reminder cards
. Greet sales floor customers and promote grooming services and/or hand out
discount flyers
. Ensure Grooming Salon cleanliness and safety meets PETCO standards by
sweeping, mopping, etc. on a regular basis
. Assist in booking grooming appointments and keeping follow-up card file active
and up-to-date
. Special projects as assigned

What Qualified Candidates Will Have:

. Able to demonstrate basic knowledge in the grooming industry
. Preferably either a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED)
