Inside Sales Executive - Software - Work Home Office

Work Home Office - Must have Inside Sales experience in technology or software.

COMPENSATION

  • Base in the $35k-$45k base range
  • Annual “At Plan” commissions are another $40K on top of the base salary
  • Top Inside Reps are earning $90k-$100k+ and commissions are uncapped

 JOB SUMMARY

Our client is a worldwide leader in technology geared toward certain areas within Financial Services.  They are looking for a high energy Inside Sales person (Account Representative) to sell to existing customer accounts via the phone and Internet.  This position will be required to contact existing customers to educate them on things such as marketing campaigns, inquiries they have made as well as any additional information or issues they may have.  During these discussions, you will be gathering relevant information by analyzing the customer in relation to their overall business in an effort to address their changing automation needs.  You will identify sales opportunities, recommend products/services that will help to achieve overall improved system utilization, and ultimately close the sale.  You will be responsible for identifying new target areas and opportunities, achieving personal sales goals, and contributing toward departmental sales goals.

 MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-3 years experience in Inside sales for Software Systems
  • Technical aptitude or the ability to understand the complexities of enterprise systems is key.
  • Solution based selling training is a big plus.
  • Understanding is also very good.

 ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Proactively contact clients to ensure database is current
  • Participate in interactive brainstorming sessions in order to stay abreast of changes in the software, technology, and the industry
  • Coordinate company technical engineering support and services to ascertain customer needs
  • Monitor competitive activity and trends within the industry
  • Travel to customer location to follow-up or to make presentations, as necessary
  • Maintain a Procedures Manual
  • Must achieve objectives as outlined in the Compensation Plan

 REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree in business, computers, or related area preferred
  • 3-4 years of sales experience
  • Complete knowledge of selling techniques and ability to close sales
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have solid understanding of our client’s products and services, as well as the industry they serve
  • Must successfully complete our client’s Product training
  • Must have the ability to solve problems over the phone, and calm escalated issues
  • Must be dedicated, organized, detail minded, analytical, positive, and have the ability to excel within a team environment
  • Knowledge of microcomputers, network operating systems, and Microsoft products
  • Coursework beyond high school in the areas of business and computers is desired
