Mission Critical Systems is hiring full-time Mid-level or Senior Network Security Sales Account Manager for the Florida area. The candidate will be responsible for selling Network Security products to mid-sized and enterprise organizations. Ability to comprehend complex technical concepts is a requirement for success in this position. -------

Mission Critical Systems has been serving as a very prominent conduit for the sales and support of various best-of-breed security products and professional services for over 15 years. The Sales candidate will be responsible for selling Network Security products to mid-sized and enterprise organizations via telephone and face-to-face meetings, with technical engineers to back them up. Candidates should be looking for a long-term career in the Computer / Security industry, and be prepared for deep technical learning. Senior Sales rep must have experience selling $100k+ ticket items, technical comprehension, and managing 50+ accounts at the same time. Prospecting and networking are essential for all candidates.
We offer an aggressive compensation plan (base salary + aggressive commission) with accelerators designed to reward progress and success. There is no cap on earnings. Healthcare plan included.
DUTIES
Successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
Calling on existing and new accounts within the Florida area
Generating leads from cold calling, speaking engagements and networking
Doing on-site sales presentations and demonstrations of the solutions
Generating sales pipelines to achieve quota
Contributing product feedback to Mission Critical Systems management
Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Taking advantage of training and learning opportunities to offer valuable consultative advice to customers
Completing related assignments as required.
REQUIREMENTS
SALES SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
Serious interest in the Computer / Security field with some sort of background in either sales, computers, or security.
Required 2+ years software or IT sales experience. Selling network security or computer software products to medium and enterprise accounts is a plus. College studies in Business, MIS, or Computer Information Systems is recommended. Successful Sales Track Record with specifics on quota achievement, clients and deal sizes in the range of $100K+
Ability to master technical products and understand how they protect a customers network.
Computer literate in terms of standard Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with network infrastructure.
