Position Description
The Manager, Regional Sales is responsible for managing the Inside Sales Team and Sales Coordinators. The focus of these efforts is to maximize territory coverage and to uncover sales opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities
* Facilitates the implementation of a consistent territory team model that optimizes sales team effectiveness. Champions the structure and process within the region.
* Communicates critical information in regularly Schedule:d team and one on one meetings, to advance the understanding and execution of key initiatives, usage of appropriate marketing tools and information to deliver high impact messages to clients
* Works with the Regional Vice President and the sales teams to optimize the utilization and effectiveness of PM access, Due Diligence, conference participation and other events for the region
* Through effective hiring, coaching and performance management practices, aligns closely with Regional Vice President and HR to attract and retain the high caliber people needed to grow and maintain the business
* Prospecting Initiative - through coaching assist District Sales Associates to increase sales and enhance relationship with advisors in the Prospecting category
* Ensuring Region is adhering to Compliance policies
Qualifications
Education, Experience and Licenses
* Post secondary degree or diploma or equivalent work experience
* 3-5 years demonstrated experience at a management level preferably in financial services industry.
* Minimum 3 years proven sales experience preferably in the financial services industry
* A recognized industry designation (CFP, RFP, CIM, FMA, CFA) or progress toward, preferred
* Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required (or completion within 6 months of hiring)
