Mobile Sales Manager- Raleigh-Durham

Mobile Sales Manager

The Mobile Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales excellence across all Medifast Weight Control Centers in his/her market. The MSM provides ongoing sales training, assists in new center openings, shares best practices, and acts as the expert in all sales related activities within his/her market.

Job Duties

  • Support all MWCC sites by acting as the ""go to"" expert in sales, products and programs.
  • Provide support and coverage in the centers as needed.
  • Work closely with the National Sales Manager to develop and implement effective sales strategies; work closely with Center Managers, Area Supervisors and District Managers in the market to develop and implement effective local or ""grass roots"" marketing strategies.
  • Conduct sales consultations with new customers developing individualized programs to motivate members for long term success while providing education on the science of weight loss.
  • Function as an ambassador for consistency and will be the model sales professional and manager to fellow in center employees.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assistance in all aspects of product offerings and services.
  • Provide ongoing sales training to centers.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all Company products, accessories, pricing plans, promotions, and service features.
  • Participate in new center openings as needed.
  • Build grass root marketing campaigns in partnership with marketing and lead generation.
  • Participate in new center openings as needed.
  • Facilitate center audits as necessary.
  • Foster a culture of client satisfaction through educated and empowered team.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive offers and provide critical market feedback to the Area Supervisor regarding local competition and product/service needs.
  • Uphold the MWCC Performance Standards - see attached.
  • Other duties as identified and assigned by management.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with three (3) years sales experience or Associate's degree with five (5) years of sales experience.
  • Specific sales experience in retail commission environment preferred.
  • Experience in weight loss/weight management preferred.
  • Experience closing ""large ticket"" and/or ""emotional"" sales.

Skills Requirements

  • Have excellent sales, customer service and communication skills.
  • Effective communication skills both over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to be empathetic.
  • Ability to train and coach others.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work in a face-paced, team oriented retail environment.
  • Working knowledge of P&L.
  • A commitment to learning and self improvement.
  • Keen set of assessment skills.
  • A focus on delighting consumers and employees/colleagues.
  • Strong computer skills especially: Excel, Power Point, Word, Internet Explorer, Operating Systems.

Position Requirements:

  • Possess a vehicle that can be used for business purposes, including travel between centers.
  • Available to work day, evening and weekend hours; flexibility to meet the needs of serving multiple center locations and schedules.
  • Possess and maintain a valid and active driver's license.
  • Ability to travel throughout area as necessary.
  • Ability to travel outside of market area on an as needed basis.
