Equivalency example: Technical College Diploma in Ophthalmic accompanied with substantial sales. ?¢ Industry experience. POSITION DESCRIPTION: ?¢ Develop and grow Lens Business within assigned account base. ?¢ Develop and execute channel appropriate, account specific tactics and programs which support the strategy of the National Account Group and company. ?¢ This would include recommendations for pricing, promotional spending, and all other types of financial and marketing support to maximize corporate sales growth within the account base. ?¢ Lead and coordinate the actions of the field sales force through the field sales management team to ensure flawless execution of account specific programs. ?¢ Account responsibility is for some of our largest national accounts (Lens). ?¢ Expense budgets managed are: T&E, Coop, Account specific meeting expense. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / ACTIVITIES: ?¢ Plan, develop and grow LENS business within an assigned account base. Manage the complexities of the business through account specific, chain and channel relevant planning. This includes strategic account analysis, promotion development, and resource allocation. ?¢ Plan, develop and execute channel appropriate strategies and programs for some of company's largest national accounts that maximize sales and profit performance. ?¢ Strategic planning and implementation of Lens account specific strategies and programs, including product mix, new product launches (targeting and timing) and growth development promotions. ?¢ Develop and maintain customer relationships by responding to all customer requests within a timely manner. ?¢ Management/allocation of field resources including but not limited to promotional funds, market development funds, starter kits, free goods, meeting/convention. ?¢ Working in tandem with marketing team, utilize principals of Category Management and customer insight to enhance distribution, product position, promotional activity to increase market share of company products and establish the company as clear market leader. ?¢ Integrate process with Field Sales Management (LENS) to ensure appropriate communication to field resulting in flawless execution of account specific promotions including program implementation and sales analysis. ?¢ Use creativity and innovation in your sales approach. Present individualized presentations to appeal to unique customer needs. ?¢ Participation in regional/national conference calls, marketing meetings, market input, forecast and sales analysis. ?¢ Team lead in situations of National Account focus. ?¢ Facilitate account relationships with senior company leadership. ?¢ Troubleshoot account problems including, shipping, billing and credit issues. Problem solving ability. ?¢ Participate in and network with customers at conventions, educational events, etc. ?¢ Perform all administrative responsibilities, including completion of expense reports, email/voicemail communications, fleet management, etc. SALARY RANGE: $85K - $95K + bonus. QUALIFICATIONS: ?¢ Minimum 6+ in related field OR 4 years with MS/MA Degree. ?¢ Ophthalmic/ Vision Care Industry and/or technical knowledge and experience are preferred. ?¢ Strong planning and interpersonal skills along with an ability to lead. ?¢ Negotiation skills, sales skills, organizational skills essential along with sound strategic thinking. ?¢ Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French. EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or equivalent. Equivalency example: Technical College Diploma in Ophthalmic accompanied with substantial sales.
