National Director of Sales, Managed Care

MHD’s web-based platform engages all stakeholders in a community and creates operational interoperability of systems across multiple platforms allowing for coordinated access to care rather than the fragmented approach that would otherwise exist.

National Director of Sales, Managed Care
This position will have national responsibility for developing revenue growth throughout the Medicaid, commercial payor, and disease management health care verticals on behalf of My Health Direct. This includes generating new business, prospecting, and providing service to all existing accounts as needed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Includes the following and other duties as assigned:

* Increase sales by opening new accounts as well as maximizing revenue from existing clients
* Consistently meet quarterly sales targets
* Provide effective sales presentations
* Create an efficient national schedule to ensure regular client visits, and effective prospecting
* Utilize available sales and marketing tools for presentations, sales calls, and prospecting
* Adapt and develop sales and marketing tools as appropriate and approved
* Maintain and report key activities and forecasting in
* Attend all company sales meetings
* Evaluate market trends and provide analysis and recommendations to management
* Develop and sustain strong client relationships by delivering superior service and capturing marketing and sales opportunities through regular partner contact and delivering value added services
* Develop a strong network of relationships within the local market in order to leverage appropriate market influencers and provide expertise to the local industry
* Promote My Health Direct’s full range of offerings
* Work collaboratively with Account Representatives to apprise them of developments and respond to their requests as appropriate
* Other reasonable duties, as assigned

Qualifications
The successful applicant will have the following minimum qualifications:

* Eight years proven background and success as a sales professional with experience related to the Medicaid environment
* Be a “Self Starter” and able to work from a home office
* Must have strong presentation skills and consultative closing skills
* Travel up to 50-70%, with ability to travel to client locations as necessary
* Experience with a rapidly growing startup organization or intraprenurial department a plus
* Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
* Keen understanding of a complex solution sell
* Knowledge of Medicaid business required
* Knowledge of commercial payor and disease management preferred
* Existing network of contacts at decision-maker level at Medicaid plans and state agencies required
* Strong experience preferred
* Bachelor’s degree required
* SaaS or ASP company experience preferred

Compensation and Benefits
The expected start date for this position is August 2010.  My Health Direct offers an excellent commission structure, a strong benefits package, and a competitive salary that is commensurate with experience.
